Marketing & PR Manager EMEA (m/f)


Job Profile:

  • Developing, driving and implementing creative and proactive PR plans and strategies for Landis+Gyr in EMEA
  • Researching, writing and editing compelling content, including press releases, articles, social media updates, Q&As, story pitches, messaging guidelines etc.
  • Contributing to the overall EMEA content marketing strategy and social media strategy
  • Proactively developing and nurturing trade, regional, local, online, and new media relationships
  • Being the point of contact for media enquiries
  • Coordinating activities with our EMEA subsidiaries, corporate communication, marketing, social media, internal communication, product management, and sales teams
  • Providing support and recommendations to our top management and further stakeholders
  • Involving and managing PR agencies and other suppliers where needed
  • Identifying and managing speaking opportunities
  • Monitoring and benchmarking Landis+Gyr's PR and communication activities
  • Developing and implementing strategies, plans, and guidelines for the cooperation with influencers, partners and distributors
  • Strategically supporting Landis+Gyr marketing & communications activities in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), including creating and driving the implementation of a yearly marketing plan for those countries along with local organizations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, Press Relations or Communications
  • Proven track record of directly contributing to the success of a company's corporate reputation and to the building of thought leadership in an international B2B environment
  • Solid understanding of a broad range of communication disciplines including media relations, digital and social media, public affairs, crisis, and campaign management
  • Ability to understand complex topics and translate them in relevant piece of content
  • Strong and creative writing skills, including for digital channels – in both English and German
  • Enjoying working with others in an international and multicultural environment
  • Collaborative, well-organized, and proactive quick-thinker
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders, whilst remaining calm and ensuring impeccable attention to detail
  • Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, Sharepoint), content marketing platforms, and graphic design programs (InDesign and Photoshop) would be a bonus
